The Radisson in Cartagena has beautiful facilities, and being adjacent to the beach is a huge plus. The staff is incredibly attentive and made me feel special, especially when they surprised me with a birthday cake and card during my stay. The rooftop jacuzzi was relaxing, and I appreciated the excellent service up there. However, I encountered some issues with the food. the fries frequently arrived cold, and when I pointed this out, they reheated them in the microwave which wasn’t fresh. My chicken burger was burned underneath, showing a need for a kitchen upgrade. The location is a bit isolated from the busy parts of the city, but a quick taxi ride gets you to the center. Overall, it was a nice stay but there’s definitely room for improvement in dining.

We had a fantastic time lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun during our stay with our grandchild. The beach access was perfect, making it easy for us to enjoy a lazy day on La Boquilla Beach. Plus, the ocean view from our room was breathtaking!
My children wanted more activities for kids to stay entertained.

Friendly staff made check-in smooth.
I experienced terrible communication before my stay. Despite multiple attempts to contact the hotel, I received no replies. When I arrived, the promised airport shuttle was nonexistent, forcing me to find a taxi late at night.

The recent trip to Cartagena was a delightful family getaway. The food options were impressive, especially the breakfast, which provided a nice variety for everyone. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool that faced the beach, and the staff was always accommodating and friendly. The only downside was the lack of beach service, which meant negotiating for chairs and umbrellas with locals. Overall, it was a fun stay for the kids and us!

missingWrote a review on Jul 01delicious indian cuisinefriendly staffsmooth check-inlack of beach serviceuninviting beach
Oh man, the food vibe at Radisson in Cartagena was on fire! The Indian cuisine made my taste buds party like it was Carnival. And don’t get me started on the friendly staff and smooth check-in, it was like getting a warm hug right when you walk in! Plus, that surprise birthday treat? Sweet touch!
Now, on the flip side, the beach scene is a bit of a bummer. No hotel service on the public beach means you’re left haggling for lounge chairs and umbrellas. And truly, the ocean isn’t very inviting either.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy king studio suite and the delicious breakfast each morning. The beach access and rooftop jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding, though the music from the live singers in the lobby could get a bit loud at times. Make sure to check out the local food spots nearby, they’re worth it! ☀️
